We are a unique brand offering, a refreshing alternative to the mass market. We love disrupting the market and challenging the stereo type beliefs, and we are only just starting.
This year we launched our 'White for Life' lifelong trade-in option on our Dezzie G Original Sneakers, which gives you the option to trade in your old pair as many times as you like for a 50% discount on a new pair. No questions asked. No proof of purchase required. Then we sterilize and donate your old pair to someone less fortunate and in need. And this, will in turn, help to create jobs down the line.
Our brand story centre's around integrity, so sustainability is our guiding light. Our packaging is earth friendly and plastic free. Our products are currently 95% plastic free with a view to eliminate plastic from all our products by 2030.
We are extremely proud to be a market leader in contributing towards reducing plastic consumption in the fashion and footwear market in South Africa !
This is very significant considering that between 2016 and 2021 the world produced 75% of all the plastic produced in the entire 20th century ! Currently packaging alone accounts for 40% of the world's plastic waste !

the Dezzie-G Story
I grew up in a small rural town in the Eastern Cape, a place where time moved slowly and solitude was a familiar companion, never lonely.
I spent most of my formative years alone and in a home that was never able to offer much support and guide me to finding true happiness in life. I had to learn that living with ADHD and featuring on the autism spectrum was like viewing life through a different lens.
Everything in life became a challenge but escaping it all by journeying to the East led me to a discovery of introspection and finding my self worth.
There, I met master cobblers and shoemakers who taught me the ancient art of shoemaking, a craft that requires patience, precision, and soul.
From them, I learned that true mastery comes not from rushing, but from honouring the process and right there the Dezzie-G brand was born, a reflection of everything I’ve lived, learned, and had come to value.
The courage to create something original in a world that often rewards imitation.
My hope is that each design inspires you to embrace your own uniqueness — to walk boldly in your own story, be more confident and find energy in authenticity.
