Why are our shoes and boots advertised in EU sizes and corresponding foot lengths ?

In South Africa we are used to UK sizes. In the international footwear arena, however, the adopted international standard is EU sizes. This means that manufacturers have for a while now been manufacturing according to the EU sizes and then translating the EU to UK sizes for our labels. Although the EU Standards is consistent in terms of size, the conversion to UK Sizing is not 100% correct and relies on rounding up or down between sizes.   So, at Dezzie-G we give our customers the certainty that the size they order online in EU will be the size that fits them best.

So, when buying our shoes online, we recommend that you do the following:

1. Pick a sneaker or boot in your cupboard  that fits you well and is the right size for you, then check the EU size of that shoe.

Voila, that is your size and should always be consistently the same !

2. Then Dezzie-G goes a step further ... measure your foot length.

Place a piece of A4 paper against a wall. Measure your foot length by standing barefoot on the paper, with your heel against a wall, make a mark at the front of your big toe.

Now measure from the edge of the paper to the pen mark and this is your foot length.

3. On our website we list foot lengths + EU Sizes when selecting your size. Look for your foot length and Voila ! Simply select your foot length and the corresponding EU size when ordering. 

Now you know that the shoe you order WILL be the right size ! This is our way of taking the risk out of choosing the wrong size when ordering online.

Just a few things to take note of please to ensure we can process your request quickly and efficiently:

Original Packaging: The item must be returned in its original packaging, including all tags and labels still attached, as well as any accessories that were included in your purchase.

Condition: The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in the same condition as when you received it.

Cost of Return: The cost of return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance to ensure your return reaches us safely. We cannot be held responsible for items lost in the post.
