Why are our sneakers advertised in EU sizes ?

In South Africa we are used to UK sizes. In the international footwear arena, however, the adopted international standard is EU sizes. This means that manufacturers have for a while now been manufacturing according to the EU sizes and then translating the EU to UK sizes for our labels. This is all fair and well for up to a size UK6 (EU39) but from then on the EU sizes don’t translate directly to a UK size anymore. So then what happens is that the manufacture has to round the UK size up or down. So, a size EU40 for example would refer to a UK6,67 if accurately compared. We know that there are no UK6,67 sizes. So then the manufacturer would either round up to mark it a size 7 or round down to a size 6. More often than not a size EU40 would be rounded up to a UK7 because 6,67 is nearer to a 7 than a 6. Well, so we would think but it doesn’t quite work that way, so we have decided to give our customers the certainty that the size they order in EU will be the size that fits them best. So, when buying our sneakers online, we recommend that you pick up a sneaker in your cupboard  that fits you well and is the right size, then check the EU size of that sneaker.

4. For both Exchanges and Returns please ensure your request complies to the following conditions:

Email: Please do not send any item back until you have received return instruction from returns@dezzieg.com.

Original Packaging: The item must be returned in its original packaging, including all tags and labels still attached, as well as any accessories that were included in your purchase.

Condition: The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in the same condition as when you received it.

Cost of Return: The cost of return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance to ensure your return reaches us safely. We cannot be held responsible for items lost in the post.

5. Once we receive your returned item and verify that it meets the above conditions, we will process your exchange or full refund promptly.
